Nicolo was the name of a black toy poodle, who came to live with us in April
1994. Our family was then living on "Rue Nicolo" in the 16th Arrondissment of Paris; he was named after the street.
His registered name, though, was "Gribouille", but nobody called him by this
name.
He lived with us for nearly 17 years, until February 1st of 2011, when he passed away
at the age of 19 years of old.
Nicolo and the other human members of the family visited some vineyards in Bourgogne
in the summer of 1994, immediately after his arrival to our family.
He ran wild from this path and that, around every vineyard we visited, all
day long. We still remember his ever so happy figure running in the sun.
